How the numbers are worked out
- Sentry’s prices are its list prices from sentry.io/pricing and docs.sentry.io/pricing, checked October 30, 2026. Discounts you have negotiated are not in them.
- Sentry lists a rate for each volume band but not how the bands combine, so a range means: every extra error at the rate of the band your total lands in, up to each band at its own rate.
- Errors only. Sentry’s plans also include 5M spans a month. Netwarden counts transactions and spans in the same allowance as errors, so if you send traces, add them to the number above.
- Netwarden’s plans are today’s prices, from $9 a month. Past a plan’s allowance new events are refused, never billed; the largest holds 5M events a month. All plans
Questions
- How does Sentry price errors?
- Sentry's Team plan is $29 a month ($26 billed yearly) and Business is $89 ($80 yearly). Each includes 50,000 errors a month. Errors past that are charged per error, at a lower rate the more you send, either reserved in advance or pay-as-you-go at a higher rate.
- What does Netwarden charge past its allowance?
- Nothing. Each plan holds a number of events a month, counted over the last 30 days; past it, new events are refused until usage is back under, and the price stays the same.
- Does Netwarden accept the Sentry SDK?
- Yes. Netwarden takes Sentry's own SDKs: you change the DSN, and sentry-cli and the build plugins keep uploading source maps and releases.
- What does this calculator leave out?
- Traces, replays, logs and seats. Sentry's plans include 5M spans a month and bill replays and logs separately; Netwarden counts transactions and spans in the same monthly allowance as errors and does not store replays.
